Our Plano and Dallas eye care centres offer a complete range of services dedicated to eye health. We provide immediate attention for eye emergencies and complete eye health management.
We offer two levels of eye examinations:
- Our standard eye exams take around 30 minutes, and we’ll complete several tests to check the health and acuity of your vision, signs of disease and dry eye, and an evaluation of any astigmatism, near-sightedness, or far-sightedness.
- Our advanced eye exam takes around 45 minutes and includes all of the above plus an OCT scan. OCT stands for optical coherence tomography, a non-invasive advanced 3D scan of the back of your eye. It enables our doctors to detect eye diseases in their earliest stages when they are most treatable, including glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal tears, detachments and tumours.

Eye Pieces was founded in 2002. We are a family-run business owned by Dr. Jaime Gonzalez, O.D., and his wife, Dr. Hoa Nguyen.
